Well, if the applicant can’t be able to reach office due to any reason, then the applicant should send someone else along with authority letters and other documents. Courier service is also made available for the applicants for receiving their attested documents.
In this case, the applicants should select the mode of attestation through courier and then submit documents and courier fee with the courier company described on the portal.
For Ph.D. applicants, the verification process is of two steps. From Dashboard, the applicants will be redirected to Ph.D. Country Directory (PCD) and then the applicants will be asked to enter CNIC or email to search for their record.
PCD serial number and other data are required to fill verification form and then HEC will verify the record for subsequent attestation.
The applicants will also have a choice to reschedule their visit time in case if the applicants can not be able to report on fixed scheduled date or time. This new system has also the ability to track down the application online.
The new system is linked to Pakistan Qualification Register (PQR) due to which the applicants can only be able to proceed for attestation if the degree program is listed in PQR otherwise the applicant can’t be able to proceed further and in this case the applicant should contact the focal person of their university for entry of programme in PQR.
Though majority of universities have been completing the entries on PQR proactively, however some universities whose response is slow are being advised to enter their degree programmes in PQR at the earliest so as to streamline attestation and other related processes.
