Madrasa Cricket League HBL PSL Peshawar Zalmi Team to Introduced Soon

Madrasa Cricket League HBL PSL Peshawar Zalmi Update:

Peshawar Zalmi—the number one brand of Pakistan Super League has announced the introduction of the third league— “The Madrasa Cricket League”.

Javed Khan Afridi—the Chairman of Peshawar Zalmi on Friday the 13th July 2018, said that the major objective of this Madrasa Cricket League HBL PSL Peshawar Zalmi is for promoting the peace and interfaith harmony among the youth. This will be a Twenty Twenty team.


After the launch of Pakistan’s first school Twenty Twenty league and the Global league, Peshawar Zalmi would be conducting the Madrasa Cricket League HBL PSL Peshawar Zalmi in collaboration with the Zalmi Foundation and the World Council of Religions. This will be a Twenty Twenty team.

The initial first phase of the Madrasa Cricket League HBL PSL Peshawar Zalmi would be played in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Ten teams would be taking part in this league. This will be a Twenty Twenty team. Madrasa Cricket League HBL PSL Peshawar Zalmi.


With the launch of another creative Madrasa Cricket League HBL PSL Peshawar Zalmi,has proved that it is not just a Twenty Twenty cricket franchise, however, it is a long-term ideology founded on the basis of promoting sports in the region and for providing empowerment to the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa via the initiatives of the Zalmi Foundation. This will be a Twenty Twenty team.

He further said that through sports, the message of prosperity and peace could be extended across the world.

Via this Madrasa Cricket League HBL PSL Peshawar Zalmi, the students of madrasas would be diverted towards Twenty Twenty cricket and with Madrasa Cricket League HBL PSL Peshawar Zalmi, they would also get an exposure to the religious conferences that would assist them in enhancing their knowledge, Javed Afridi added.

In the initial phase of the Madrasa Cricket League HBL PSL Peshawar Zalmi, following ten Twenty Twenty teams would be taking part in the league:
  • Al-Maqasid Fighters,
  • Al-Nasr Swingers,
  • Al-Muttahidoon Creatives,
  • Al-Haq Smashers,
  • Al-Noor All-Rounders,
  • Al-Wasl Supernovas,
  • Al-Wahda Hitters,
  • Al-Hilal Challengers,
  • Al-Khair Riders, and
  • Al-Ittihad Peace builder
After the first phase in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Madrasa Cricket League HBL PSL Peshawar Zalmi would spread across the other provinces of the country where there would be a final between the best madrasa Twenty Twenty teams.

We hope that this great effort of Peshawar Zalmi will add best players in Pakistani Cricket and students of Pakistani Madrasas will also come in lime light of Pakistani Twenty Twenty cricket.

Saudi Arabian Flynas SaudiGulf Launching Pakistan Operations on Low Cost

Saudi Arabian Flynas SaudiGulf Launching Pakistan Operations Update:

After the Saudi Airlines, Saudi Arabian Flynas SaudiGulf Launching Pakistan Operations. Saudi Arabia is always on Pakistan’s top list. However Saudi Arabia has much demand for flights due to the Holy cities and pilgrimage.

The two Saudi Arabian Flynas SaudiGulf Launching Pakistan Operations are:
1) Flynas
2) Saudi Gulf

1) Flynas


It is the first Saudi Low-cost carrier. Flynas used to operate to Pakistan until 2013 but they seized due to some uncertain reason but they are planning for a comeback. Flynas formely Nas Air, is a domestic and international low-cost airline based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and it is country's first budget airline. Saudi Arabian Flynas SaudiGulf Launching Pakistan Operations.

Saudi Arabian Flynas SaudiGulf Launching Pakistan Operations. The airline is going to resume flights on Dammam-Lahore, Riyadh-Lahore and Riyadh-Islamabad Sectors. According to information available, the airline will use 2 types of aircrafts for this operations. Airbus A-320 aircraft will be used on Dammam-Lahore and Riyadh-Islamabad Sectors, whereas the airline intends to start Jeddah-Lahore operations with Boeing 767 aircraft.
Here is its initial schedule:

Flynas intend to start the services in February 2018 and the first flight will be operated on 1st February 2018 between Dammam-Lahore with Airbus A-320 aircraft. Other routes are expected to start on 15th February 2018 betwee Riyadh-Lahore, Riyadh-Islamabad and Jeddah-Lahore.

2) SaudiGulf


Saudi Gulf is a private airline based in Dammam. It is the third Saudi flag carrier owned by Abdulhadi Al Qahtani and Sons Holding Company (Tareq Al Qahtani and Brothers). The airline operates a fleet of A320 aircrafts while they have plans for 16 Boeing 777. Now they are planning to commence operations from Dammam to the four cities of Pakistan which include Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad, and Sialkot. The airline will use A320 aircrafts which come equipped with leather seats in both compartments, Business and Economy Class. The start of Saudi Gulf would provide a tough competition to the other airlines as it provides good facilities at a cheap price.

SaudiGulf will be represented by Gerry's Group in Pakistan. SaudiGulf has announced the start of its operations to four destinations in Pakistan as part of its international route expansion program from March 1, 2018. SaudiGulf fares are to start from 12,000 PKR and include free seat selection, hot meals, in-flight entertainment services as well as personalized customer service.


Emphasizing on the pivotal role of travel trade in maintaining the relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, SaudiGulf Airlines will commence direct flights from Dammam to Lahore & Islamabad with a frequency of 4 flights per week as well as 3 flights per week connecting Dammam with Sialkot & Peshawar.

Mr. Karim Makhlouf, Chief Commercial Officer,in a statement at a press conference in Islamabad stated:
‘’We are pleased to announce our 2018 international routes expansion starting with four destinations in Pakistan from Dammam, SaudiGulf Airline’s main base in Saudia Arabia. This route will connect passengers from Pakistan across the kingdom of Saudi Arabia through King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.’’
Utilizing King Fahd International Airport in Dammam as the hub of its operations, SaudiGulf airlines will be the first Saudi carrier to operate direct flights between the Eastern Providence of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

This strategic decision was taken by SaudiGulf Airlines aligned with the Saudi Vision 2030 to support the expanding growth in infrastructure projects in the kingdom which will ultimately contribute to ease of travel to passengers between Saudi Arabia & Pakistan.

Furthermore, the routes shall be utilized to carry passengers from the mentioned destinations in Pakistan across the kingdom of Saudi Arabia though the Dammam hub. Connections mainly include Jeddah &Medina dedicated to carry Hajj & Umrah passengers.

PSL 2018 Peshawar Zalmi Team Hired Two Chinese Cricketers Sign of Friendship


PSL 2018 Peshawar Zalmi Team Hired Two Chinese Cricketers Update: Peshawar Zalmi — the reigning champions of Pakistan Super League (PSL) — have signed two Chinese cricketers for the third edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018.


Jian Li and Yufie Zhang will travel to Pakistan for the competition scheduled to be held early next year.

He said that Pak-China’s collaboration encompasses more than just the infrastructure, scientific research, industry and technology.
He said:
"The exchange of cultural values, as well as sport, is equally important in further reinforcing the bond between our two nations."
Javed Afridi added:
"Peshawar Zalmi is not only pleased to assist in top notch coaching and mentoring of cricketers in China, but also providing them a platform to recognise their talent and motivate them to achieve international recognition."

PSL 2018 Peshawar Zalmi Team Hired Two Chinese Cricketers, Amir Afridi said that we provide official coaches for training as well as cricket kits to different schools and colleges.

He also informed that we also submit a proposal to Pakistan Cricket Board for organizing the match in China instead of UAE.

Muhammad Akram, the director of cricketing affairs for Peshawar Zalmi, said that the team's coaching staff will travel to China for a seminar to kick off collaboration with the Chinese board and hold coaching programs subsequently to identify and groom young Chinese talent.

He also revealed that a China Zalmi team will participate in tournaments organised by the franchise under its "Global Zalmi" initiative with representation from 25 clubs from across the globe.


Former Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Zhang Chunxiang was also present in the ceremony.

Foreign Security Experts In Karachi

Good security measures during the previous PSL campaign was the deciding factor why more international players agreed to join the third edition of the competition.

A security consultant has arrived in Pakistan to improve the security arrangements in Karachi, since two to four PSL matches are to be held at the Karachi National Stadium.

Reg Dickason of Eastern Star International works with ICC, FICA and other various international cricket boards. He was received at the airport by Pakistan Cricket Board’s head of security Col Azam.

A PCB official claimed that Reg was particularly impressed by Pakistan’s efforts to regain world’s confidence by holding such an event at its home soil; this is the reason why he helped Pakistan in security arrangements made for the World XI tour.

Dickason is yet to talk to the local media. He is scheduled to visit Karachi’s National Stadium, which will be followed by his meeting with IG Sindh and CM Murad Ali Shah later in the day.
