Pakistan Post Establishes NADRA CNIC Registration Service. The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) is set to open registration counters at 200 post offices in rural areas to help people submit their applications for a Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC).

An agreement to this effect was signed on Thursday (15-02-2018) by Nadra officials and the Pakistan Post. As per the Nadra spokesperson currently, this service will be available in 200 post offices and with time it will be spread to all the post offices. Recently, NADRA also started issuing CNICs to transgenders, by this lifting up their status in the country. Those with no information available of their biological parents would also be issued with CNICs.
