PM Tabdeeli-Panah Gah Shelter Home Project Madina-e-Sani Welfare State Program For Homeless

PM Tabdeeli-Panah Gah Shelter Home Update:


Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday the 10th November 2018, said that his government is soon going to launch a mega Project to curb poverty.

Details of PM Tabdeeli-Panah Gah Shelter Home

Therefore, PM Imran Khan arrived in Lahore on Saturday to lay the foundation stone for a shelter Project in the city.


Most importantly, it is the first of five in Lahore. PM Tabdeeli-Panah Gah Shelter Home.

Besides that, These Project will follow by shelters in other cities across the country, the premier shared on Twitter.


The one kanal land belongs to the provincial government, but the federal government will conduct the construction.

Therefore, according to the premier, the shelter home will provide a roof to 93 men and 27 women. PM Tabdeeli-Panah Gah Shelter Home.


PM Address After Laying Foundation Stone

After laying the foundation stone of a shelter home Project, PM Imran said that shelter home will provide free food to poor people thrice a day.


The PM announce that in seven to ten days, the government would launch its Project for the alleviation of poverty.

This project would be “unlike any other in Pakistan”. PM Tabdeeli-Panah Gah Shelter Home.



Besides that, he told that the package will be a coordinating effort of all organizations working towards the alleviation of poverty under one umbrella.

Prime Minister said that the most important issue of his government is to provide poverty alleviation package.

Speaking about a picture of a homeless family in Lahore which recently went viral on the social media, the premier said:


“If people do not feel compassionate after seeing this picture I do not consider them human.”

He adds:

“It was Allama Iqbal and Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s dream to make Pakistan a model Islamic state.”

Features of Shelter Home

The shelter building will be based upon a “state of the art” design with simplicity in order to improve its utility.


Because Project will provide separate facilities to ensure best usage of the place.

Most importantly, Project will also include construction of multi-purpose halls.

24 Mineral Water Pakistani Products Banned Update:

Be careful about the mineral water brand you are drinking! In its latest move, Supreme Court of Pakistan has banned the sale and distribution of as many as 24 mineral water brands. 24 Mineral Water Pakistani Products Banned.

The Honorable Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mr. Mian Saqib Nisar issued the order after presiding over a three-member bench for the hearing of the distribution of ‘clean and safe’ water case. 24 Mineral Water Pakistani Products Banned.

The counsel for the accused mineral water company claimed that the water being provided to the public is pure and totally safe for drinking. 24 Mineral Water Pakistani Products Banned.
The company’s lawyer said:
"The court can summon the Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PCSQA) report if required."
Honorable Chief Justice Mr. Nisar remarked that outcomes of the hearing will not be changed by hiring a prestigious lawyer.
He added:
"Companies should have the consciousness to provide clean water, we have to care for the people and the children."
The court clearly ordered that the mineral water sale from 24 companies should be halted until any further notice is given. 24 Mineral Water Pakistani Products Banned.

3 Popular Mineral Water Brands Come Under Fire!

Bottled water from three companies have failed to meet the quality standards required. It comes as a shock as some renowned drinking water brands are on the list too!

A survey was conducted in Lahore and collected samples from across the city which were then sent to Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research for testing. 14 Samples were collected in total.

3 Companies Banned By The Punjab Food Authority

Samples from the Water and Sanitation Agency have also been collected, it was also reported that various samples were taken from private and government hospitals too. The results have not been received as yet.

The 14 Companies Included In Testing Were:

Naimat
Bottle Water
Pure Drinking Water
Nestle Pure Life
Murree Sparkletts
Zam Zam
Springley

Out of the 14 ‘mineral water’ brands that were tested only 11 passed as being ‘Plain or Safe Water’. However, none of these were passed as ‘Mineral Water’.

It is the responsibility of mineral water companies to provide safe water to the people. The revelations revealed by the survey and the Supreme Court decision clearly shows that these companies are manipulating with the public and have failed to provide safe drinking water to the people of Pakistan.

TDCP Sightseeing Lahore Double Decker Wagah Bus Service Inaugurated


TDCP Sightseeing Lahore Double Decker Wagah Bus Service Update:

The launching ceremony of TDCP Sightseeing Lahore Double Decker Wagah Bus Service from Gaddafi Stadium, Football Ground, to Wagah Border, was held amid festivity and celebrations on Saturday, by the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP).


On 9th December 2017, the TDCP Sightseeing Lahore Double Decker Wagah Bus Service started operating on the new route.


The ceremony of TDCP Sightseeing Lahore Double Decker Wagah Bus Service featured jhoomar, a traditional dance and songs on Lahore, while beautifully decorated double-decker buses to be used for sightseeing were displayed at the venue.

The TDCP has dedicated a five-bus fleet for the TDCP Sightseeing Lahore Double Decker Wagah Bus Service which would ply from the stadium to the border round the week, charging Rs300 per person fare for the trip.


On Saturday (09th November 2017) a large number of guests, including families of rangers personnel, traveled to the Wagah Border by these buses.

On the occasion, a cake-cutting ceremony was also held amidst dhol beats and bhangra. A 10-pound cake (a model of a double-decker bus) was cut by TDCP Managing Director Ahmer Malik, along with Punjab tourism department secretary and other officials.

The TDCP Sightseeing Lahore Double Decker Wagah Bus Service begins from Qaddafi Stadium Terminal at 2:30 pm daily and then reaches back to the terminal sharp after the parade at Wagah Border at 6 pm.


60 passengers can sit on the bus and enjoy their ride with features like Wi-Fi and LEDs. They can watch and enjoy the historical sites of Lahore as they take a ride on this bus.

Safety features and Hi-Tec real-time surveillance feature is part of the bus. Riders will be able to enjoy live commentary by experts.

Route

The double-decker bus will take the following routes;
  • Main Boulevard
  • Jail Road
  • Ring Road
  • Lahore Canal
  • GT Road and finally reach the border.
As per Punjab Government, the goal of this project is to promote tourism and show the world the historical sites of Lahore. Rana Mashood Ahmed current Tourism Minister of Punjab is supervising this project.

If the demand for the buses increases, Punjab government will add another bus going on similar routes.

Rescue 1122 Free Motorbike Ambulance Service Inaugurated by CM Punjab


Rescue 1122 Free Motorbike Ambulance Service Update: Punjab’s emergency service, Rescue 1122 with the efforts of Punjab Government has launched free Rescue 1122 Free Motorbike Ambulance Service in the Punjab province.

The Rescue 1122 Free Motorbike Ambulance Service is initially being launched in Lahore only and will then phase out to the nine divisional headquarters of the province.

Former member of Scottish parliament Hanzala Malik handed over keys of ten motorbike ambulances to Chief Minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif.
Speaking on this occasion Shahbaz Sharif said:
"Punjab government is taking practical steps for improvement of the healthcare system."
He added:
"Motorbike Ambulance Service will help reach the patients in narrow streets and tight corners."
Shahbaz Sharif said the technicians who have been hired for Rescue 1122 Free Motorbike Ambulance Service have been trained on modern lines in Turkey and the service is another feather in the cap of medical emergency services.


He thanked the Turkish government for its support to the Punjab government for launching the Rescue 1122 Free Motorbike Ambulance Service .

Sharif congratulated Rescue 1122 DG Dr Rizwan Naseer, saying the project materialised in just six to seven months.

At this moment, the trained Rescue 1122 officials performed a practical demonstration of rescuing an injured person.

Rescue officials are being recruited for the respective purpose. With this quick response service, people will get rapid relief in which the rescue workers will reach location of accident to provide medical aid.

The Chief Minister paid a visit to the control room of motorbike ambulances service center. The new ambulance service comprises 900 motorbikes while 900 medical technicians have been inducted for the motorbike ambulance service. It will be available in nine divisions of the province.

Three hundred motorbike ambulances will be provided in Lahore division while one hundred each in Rawalpindi, Multan, Gujranwala and Faisalabad divisions and fifty each in Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sargodha and Sahiwal divisions.

The idea for the service was derived from the UK, Turkey and Japan based models.
