It is a completely new generation. You now get a completely redesigned body as well as the interior. However, stylistically, the second gen Audi Q5 takes all its hints and design cues from the first gen Q5. Audi has made the front end of 2018 Q5 more aggressive than before. The front grill is more angular and bold. The car now overall sits lower with a lower roofline.

Features and Specifications

The engine of the new car is 1984 cc 4-cylinder inline engine mated to a 7-speed S Tronic gearbox, making 252 BHP and 370 Nm of torque. As claimed by Audi the new car does 0-100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and can also do 237 km/h.

Audi Pakistan Introduced Sportback Series 2018 in Pakistan Price RS 6.8 Million

The German luxury car maker Audi has released the A5 Sportback in Pakistan. The 2018 Audi A5 Sportback comes in 3 different trims in the international market:

• Audi A5 Sportback SE
• Audi A5 Sportback Sport
• Audi A5 Sportback S Line

Apart from the diesel-only SE model, Audi has launched the other A5 Sportback models in Pakistan.

The Audi A5 Sportback has a starting price of Rs. 6.8 million in Pakistan.

The Audi Pakistan Introduced Sportback Series 2018 in question is a blend of hatchback versatility, sedan spaciousness, and coupe styling; in other words, A5 Sportback is a master stroke by the German car manufacturer.

Features

Under the hood, the Audi Pakistan Introduced Sportback Series 2018 features a 1.4L TFSI engine capable of producing 150 bhp @ 5,000-6,000 RPM and 250Nm of torque @ 1,500-3,500 RPM, coupled with a 7-speed S-Tronic transmission. The new A5 has been introduced with a base price of Rs 6.85 million (without registration and insurance) and as expected, luxury accessories are already included from the start.

Exterior

The A5 Sportback features trim lines running down the hood of the car which gives the vehicle a “mean” sporty look. The horizontal front grille with the daytime running lights add to that persona giving it a mix of class and sporty demeanor. Bi-Xenon low beam Bi-Xenon high beam headlights are featured here with ellipsoidal lenses.

The rearview mirrors include LED indicators.

Audi rarely changes the back of the car too much and the same holds true for the A5 Sportback. The back features the classic Audi look with sweeping LED lights similar to the A4 and S4 line.

Interior

It may seem overwhelming at first but you’ll notice that the Sportback’s dashboard doesn’t have too many controls. The three spoke steering wheel includes media and other controls such as the windscreen wipers, rearview mirror controls etc.

You can get the optional virtual cockpit in the Sportback for additional price.

The infotainment system supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The 7.0 inch LCD display can be used for regular bluetooth audio/video playback as well, includes SatNav.

A5 Sportback comes with a Bang & Olufsen speaker system with 10 speakers including a subwoofer, offering unprecedented audio quality.

Drive select lets you choose between different engine, suspension and steering settings. You can opt for a smoother, comfier ride or a sportier, rougher drivetrain.

The leather seats are heated and electrically adjustable. A sun roof is also included by default.

There’s a lot to like about that huge trunk space. You get 480 litres of boot space which means you can easily pack up for a week long family trip to the northern areas or some place else.

Price and Additional Equipment

The international versions of the Audi A5 Sportback start at $42,000 and go all the way up to $49,000. This isn’t the case in Pakistan as the Sportback starts at Rs. 68.5 million minus insurance or registration charges.

Additional options like seat ventilation, convenience key, anti theft alarm and more can be added to the car as well.
