PAF JF 17 Thunder BVR Infrared Missile Successfully Tested Update:

It was a landmark occasion for Pakistan Air Force (PAF) as well as the whole nation, when the indigenously produced JF-17 Thunder shot down a slow speed target with BVR (Beyond Visual Range) and IR (Infrared) missile with a pin-point accuracy at Sonmiani firing range on Friday. PAF JF 17 Thunder BVR Infrared Missile Successfully Tested.

PAF JF 17 Thunder BVR Infrared Missile Successfully Tested. Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force was the Chief Guest at the ceremony at Sonmiani firing range, the PAF said in a statement.

Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman witnessed the live demonstration, displaying PAF’s capability to successfully locate and destroy high/ slow speed moving targets by employing high-tech inventory of aircraft and missiles. PAF JF 17 Thunder BVR Infrared Missile Successfully Tested.


Addressing the ceremony, the air chief said:
“We are thankful to Allah Almighty who has given us the strength to achieve this extraordinary milestone. The successful testing of these sophisticated weapons is a testimony of JF-17 Thunder’s multirole capabilities.”
PAF JF 17 Thunder BVR Infrared Missile Successfully Tested. He said it was a matter of immense pride that six PAF fighter squadrons had already been equipped with the pride of the nation JF-17 Thunder aircraft, making it the backbone of our aerial defence.

The air chief also lauded the hard work put in by PAF and Chinese personnel in making the event a success.

The facility, developed in collaboration with Chinese authorities, is equipped with real time tracking and measuring equipment to qualify the indigenously developed and procured weapon systems.
Earlier, Air Vice Marshal Haseeb Paracha, Air Officer Commanding, Southern Air Command received the Chief Guest on his arrival at the venue.

High ranking PAF officers along with civil and military officials also witnessed this historic event.
The day marked a monumental episode in the glorious history of PAF as a state-of-the-art Weapon Test Range has been made operational to track the complete trajectory of the aircraft and launched missiles.

Pakistan PAF Drone Technology Role Update: The country in this world which desperately needs latest Drone technology is Pakistan, because this time three Pakistani Borders are connected with those three who are directly or indirectly penetrating terrorism inside Pakistan. These countries are: India, Afghanistan and Iran.

To overcome the terrorism in Pakistan, government deployed half of Pakistan Army inside Pakistan who looks after the security issues. Rest of the Pakistan Army are fighting unconventional war Pak-India and Pak Afghan borders. Pakistan PAF Drone Technology Role. Loong Wing Drones equipped with more than two missiles and can fly upto 20 hours continuously. Another Chinese Drone which is more popular than Loong Wing Drone are CH-5 Drones. CH-5 Drones can take sixteen missiles at a time but it can also fly one hundred and twenty (20) hours continuously.

Pakistan took Wing Loong technology from China and designing it according to the needs of Pakistan. If Pakistan becomes successful in making CH-5 Drones inside Pakistan than Pakistan's defence becomes more strong. Pakistan PAF Drone Technology Role.

By making CH-5 Drones Pakistan can bring 80% Pakistan Army which has been deployed at Pak-Afghan Border. This can also save the lives of Pakistan Army Soldiers and officers.


Pakistan Can Also monitor the borders with latest Drones like United States, and Drones can fire Missiles on need. This time Pakistan need latest Drone technology desperately because India not only creating tension on Line of Control (LoC) but India also collaborating with Afghanistan using Afghan border to penetrate terrorists inside Pakistan.

It is the main wish of India to create such circumstances on Pak-Afghan border so Pakistan can deploy maximum army on Pak-Afghan border.

PAF Bholari New Operational Air Base Karachi Inaugurated


PAF Bholari New Operational Air Base Karachi Update:

Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on Monday the 25th December 2017 inaugurated its newly established Bholari airbase, called by Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman “a project of strategic significance for capacity enhancement of the PAF”.

PAF Bholari New Operational Air Base Karachi was inaugurated on the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam to show reverence to the father of the nation, said a statement by the PAF.

PAF says that to show reverence to the father of our nation, this landmark event has been arranged on his birth anniversary. The great Quaid had chalked out a future vision for the PAF, when he directed the PAF rank and file to make it a potent air force, second to none.

Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, the Chief of Air Staff, was the chief guest on the occasion. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah also attended the ceremony as guest of honour.


Addressing the inauguration ceremony of PAF Bholari New Operational Air Base Karachi as the chief guest, the air chief highlighted the importance of the new facility and called it a significant addition to the force’s overall operational capacity.
“Indeed, PAF Base Bholari is a project of strategic significance for capacity enhancement of Pakistan Air Force in the operational domain both overland as well as at sea."
Aman said:
“With the establishment of the base, PAF would be able to support the land operations of Pak Army more efficiently. More so, PAF Base Bholari would also augment and supplement the very important maritime operations carried out by Pak Navy.”
He further said that besides providing aerial defence to the motherland, the PAF Bholari New Operational Air Base Karachi would also play a key role in the socio-economic uplift of adjoining areas by providing state-of-the-art health services, quality education and employment to the locals.


The PAF Bholari New Operational Air Base Karachi — located northeast of Karachi — is a significant milestone that will not only strengthen the defence of Karachi and coastline but also provide aerial support to Pakistan Army and Navy for their land and sea operations, respectively.
The chief guest unveiled the new emblem of the PAF Base Bholari to inaugurate the newly established base.

Four F-16 aircraft presented a flypast to welcome the worthy guests. To make the event memorable, solo aerobatics display of F-16 aircraft was also presented at the occasion.


The Air Chief visited the various newly constructed facilities and infrastructure of the base. He also interacted with the airmen, while visiting flight line of the squadron.


The ceremony was attended by Principal Staff Officers of PAF, senior officers of Defense forces and a large number of dignitaries from Government and civil organizations.
