PAC 5th All Sindh Education Expo 2018 Karachi to be Held on 20th January


PAC 5th Sindh Education Expo 2018 Karachi Update:

A sizeable proportion of Pakistan’s population comprises young people aged between 15 and 24; these schools, college and university bound students are focused, ambitious and eager to climb the ladder to success. They realize that the first and most important rung of the ladder is a degree from a reputable college or university.

Pakistan Academic Consortium (PAC) is organizing PAC 5th Sindh Education Expo 2018 Karachi on 20th and 21st January 2018 (Saturday and Sunday) from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at Expo Centre, Karachi.


PAC 5th Sindh Education Expo 2018 Karachi with the aim to provide career counseling opportunities and ideas for young students under one roof.

PAC 5th Sindh Education Expo 2018 Karachi is the largest educational event which takes place every year at Expo Centre and attended by students of Schools, Colleges and Universities and their families.

This time PAC have more than 200 institutions setting up stalls and PAC expects a foot-fall of more than 500,000 visitors in two days PAC 5th Sindh Education Expo 2018 Karachi.

The formal opening ceremony of PAC 5th Sindh Education Expo 2018 Karachi will take place on Saturday, 20th January at 10:00 AM in which PAC is expecting Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shahi as Chief Guest.

You will see the stalls of famous publishers at PAC 5th Sindh Education Expo 2018 Karachi. Quiz competition will also a major component of PAC 5th All Sindh Education Expo 2018. You can visit the food court in this event.

Karachi Expo Centre is located in the commercial Capital of Pakistan. It has a distinction of being in the back yard of CAR countries, accessible to Middle East and a gate way to other Asian Countries. Karachi being cosmopolitan, adds flavor for international marketing geopolitically. Karachi Expo Centre is equipped with modern facilities based on international standards creating a market and a world of its own. Pakistan International Trade PITF Fair 2017 to be Held in Karachi Expo Center in Cctober


Pakistan International Trade PITF Fair 2017 Update: Pakistan International Trade Fair (PITF)’, one of the country’s biggest trade and consumer fair, is going to be held between 26th and29th October, 2017 at Expo Center Karachi.

The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) is organising the Pakistan International Trade PITF Fair 2017 event, in collaboration with Badar Expo Solutions, an event management company that has managed over 1000 events including IDEAS.

For this purpose, Hall 1 to 6 in the Expo Center have been booked to display industrial products and services.

Hanif Gohar, chairman Fair and Exhibition, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) addressing a pre-event media briefing here on 7th October 2017, he said:
"The four-day Pakistan International Trade PITF Fair 2017 will be held at the Karachi Expo Centre from October 26 to 29 to promote the Pakistani products and culture."
He said that a very positive response has been received from the foreign countries including Belarus, China, Iran, Malaysia, Russia, UAE, South Korea, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Germany, US, and Japan.
He added:
"President Mamnoon Hussain will inaugurate this Pakistan International Trade PITF Fair 2017, while high-profile dignitaries such as Governors and Chief Ministers of all the provinces, federal and provincial ministers, and members from the diplomatic corps will visit this fair."
FPCCI is organizing this Pakistan International Trade PITF Fair 2017 at grand level as six halls of the Expo Centre were already booked, and this was the first attempt of FPCCI in the last 35 years to organize such kind of event since 1984.

While giving the details of the participating companies, Haris Ali Mithani, senior vice chairman Fairs & Exhibition FPCCI, said that the products and services from major sectors to be showcased in PITF-2017 include: textile, construction & building material, chemical, FMCG brands, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, electrical & electronics, financial services, handicrafts and logistics etc.

To make this fair more fruitful for the business community, first two-day are reserved only for the industries, B2B and B2C contacts. In the remaining last two-days of the event, general public will be allowed.

The hall six of the Karachi expo center will be the Chinese pavilion where 48 Chinese companies will exhibit their products. Hall 5 will have multinational companies, and in hall 4 high brands from Pakistan will exhibit. The third hall will have electronic, home appliances, building materials while hall 2 will have developers and builders.

6th Robotics Expo ITU 2017 Lahore Exposed Robots Made by Pakistani Brilliant Students


6th Robotics Expo ITU 2017 Lahore Update: The Information Technology University (ITU) Punjab students have developed 100 Robots so far through innovation to handle the daily life problems by providing ICT solutions while soon ITU will send team for international Robotic competition.



Such activities are bridging the gap between academia and the industry. Dr. Umar Saif founding Vice Chancellor ITU said while talking to media in the 6th Robotics Expo, Machines of The future: Robots, today.


Yuriy Fedkiw, Consular General, US Consulate Lahore speaking as Chief Guest said that young talent coming up with solutions to the human problems have significant economic growth potential through innovation as science and technology was playing major role in Pakistan economy. USA was cooperating with Pakistan in science, technology and knowledge economy through scholarships in American institutions and advanced training in various technological disciplines, he said.

The 6th Robotics Expo displayed 15 new Robots prototypes developed by the students of ITU under the guidance of the faculty to address locally relevant problems of Pakistan. Inzamam ul Haq, Chief Selector Pakistan National Team and Mushtaq Ahmed, head coach of NCA was also present to encourage the work of ITU students. They expressed that Pakistani youth has potential to compete in the World.


Talha Rehmani, lead of robotics program ITU said that the energy and passion among these students to work for their society and to serve the humanity confirmed that Pakistan has potential for a brighter future of the country.

The projects showcased included;

  • Rekhta: This brings Urdu word prediction and transliteration to finger-tips of people. Rekhta was built by a 12-year-old tech prodigy, Muhammad Raza, who was declared as Rock Star of the event.
  • Ross: The Roboceptionist, is a robot working as a receptionist at Arfa Software Technology Park. He loves interacting with the people; mimic facial expressions in real time and provide directions to people visiting Arfa Tower.
  • Payam: It can notify efficiently the rescues services and relatives about the car location in case of an accident. This is a valuable tool in saving precious human lives.
  • Saliré: This is a robot assistant that can take stairs and move small items from one place to another. Illumaphone, helps the people, especially kids, with congenital amusia – tone deafness.
  • Vizo: This Robot can be attached to any eyeglasses and improve interaction by displaying valuable information right in front of your eye.
  • Rahbar: It provides real-time info regarding the location and arrival times of public transport, especially shuttles of metro buses.

The CEOs and representatives from various companies, leading journalist, the faculty and rectors of many prestigious universities including NUST, LUMS and FAST attended the event.
