As the authorities have launched a “Cogent Police Street Watch Bike Force Karachi” to fight increasing street crime.

According to a senior government official a new Cogent Police Street Watch Bike Force Karachi, that consists of trained and young police commandos, has been launched after a batch of 200 personnel with 100 Motorbikes started patrolling Karachi’s South district.

Gradually, he said, the plan would be expanded to other districts and a total of 1,000 Motorbikes with 2,000 police commandos would become part of the force.

Dr. Amir Ahmed Shaikh Briefing

Karachi police chief Dr. Amir Ahmed Shaikh said:

“In the first phase we have brought a team of 200 police commandos with 100 motorbikes. They are being deputed in Defence and Clifton in the South district. They have completed their training and passed out recently. According to our plan, we keep the force under the command of the area SP. The force will be in touch with the police helpline Madadgar 15.”

Dr. Amir was hopeful that the Cogent Police Street Watch Bike Force Karachi will play its role in eradicating or reducing street crime in the City of Lights.

The Benelli 302R is the lower end model and features a 38 hp, 4 stroke water cooled engine.

It can reach from 0-100km/hour in 9 seconds and has a top speed of 175kmph.

Benelli TNT 600i Specifications

The higher end Benelli TNT 600i is a 600 cc beast. It can go from zero to 100 kmph in around 4 seconds and has a top speed of 221 kmph. Both bikes features electric starts.

Rescue 1122 Free Motorbike Ambulance Service Inaugurated by CM Punjab

Rescue 1122 Free Motorbike Ambulance Service Update: Punjab’s emergency service, Rescue 1122 with the efforts of Punjab Government has launched free Rescue 1122 Free Motorbike Ambulance Service in the Punjab province.

The Rescue 1122 Free Motorbike Ambulance Service is initially being launched in Lahore only and will then phase out to the nine divisional headquarters of the province.

Former member of Scottish parliament Hanzala Malik handed over keys of ten motorbike ambulances to Chief Minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif.
Speaking on this occasion Shahbaz Sharif said:

"Punjab government is taking practical steps for improvement of the healthcare system."

He added:

"Motorbike Ambulance Service will help reach the patients in narrow streets and tight corners."

Shahbaz Sharif said the technicians who have been hired for Rescue 1122 Free Motorbike Ambulance Service have been trained on modern lines in Turkey and the service is another feather in the cap of medical emergency services.

He thanked the Turkish government for its support to the Punjab government for launching the Rescue 1122 Free Motorbike Ambulance Service .

Sharif congratulated Rescue 1122 DG Dr Rizwan Naseer, saying the project materialised in just six to seven months.

At this moment, the trained Rescue 1122 officials performed a practical demonstration of rescuing an injured person.

Rescue officials are being recruited for the respective purpose. With this quick response service, people will get rapid relief in which the rescue workers will reach location of accident to provide medical aid.

The Chief Minister paid a visit to the control room of motorbike ambulances service center. The new ambulance service comprises 900 motorbikes while 900 medical technicians have been inducted for the motorbike ambulance service. It will be available in nine divisions of the province.

Three hundred motorbike ambulances will be provided in Lahore division while one hundred each in Rawalpindi, Multan, Gujranwala and Faisalabad divisions and fifty each in Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sargodha and Sahiwal divisions.

The idea for the service was derived from the UK, Turkey and Japan based models.

Before that, various other motorcycle companies have brought their respective bike models in Pakistan. From Road Prince Wego to Archi 150cc to Super-Power Leo 200, the list is growing day by day.

Now good news for all the bike lovers out there! ZXMCO has launched the ZXMCO Monster ZX 250-D Cruiser Motorcycle. 

 

It doesn’t look like a monster though, it looks more like a Chinese Harley Davidson.

Design and Specifications

As the name suggests ZXMCO Monster ZX 250-D Cruiser Motorcycle it has a 250cc engine. 

 
The engine is a 4-stroke, double cylinder (V-Twin), air-cooled unit and is equipped with electronic fuel injection.

 
The ZXMCO Monster ZX 250-D Cruiser Motorcycle is said to be more fuel efficient than other 250cc bikes thanks to EFI.

 So you can expect relatively better fuel economy than other 250cc bikes. ZXMCO Monster ZX 250-D Cruiser Motorcycle net weight is 165 kg and has disk brakes both at the front and the rear.

 
According to ZXMCO, ZX 250 can do 120 km/h. The fuel tank of ZXMCO Monster 250 can contain 18 liters of fuel.

The bike, of course, is self-start. You will find a lot of LEDs throughout the motorcycle, from front headlight to the brake light to turn signals.

Apart from that, it has disc brakes at both the front and rear wheels. It weighs up to 165 kg.

Price and Availability

The Monster 250cc has a retail price of Rs. 425,000. Pre-booking is necessary if you want to get the bike. 

The initial deposit is Rs. 75.000 and it will be delivered to you within 60 days after booking.
