According to the implementation status (NACTA Review – December 2017) of National Action Plan (NAP), the mission of “surf safer” is to counter online extremism, map and eliminate extremist content, help victims of extremism by regaining space for values of moderation, love and fraternity in the Cyber sphere through community participation and ultimately make the Internet a safer place for everyone.

The school was founded by Asif Shahzad and the Exploring Future Foundation. According to Asif, about 15 faculty members (including three from the transgender community) will serve at the school initially.

Sources said an official at the helm of the affairs of the civil aviation division gave go-ahead signal to new designs without any approval from the board of directors of the national flag carrier, which is said to have been kept in dark about the decision.

18 aircraft were added to the fleet of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) over a course of four years and the government plans to induct more planes on dry and wet lease, Parliamentary Secretary for Cabinet Secretariat Javed Ikhlas told the National Assembly.

He said the flights to USA have been closed by the PIA since November last year due to heavy losses on this route.

Addressing on the occasion, Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan said PIA had taken a progressive step to rebuild its image in the world and it was a gradient endeavor to rebrand PIA, said a press release.
He said:

“We have introduced world class facilities for the local and international fights and it is our foremost commitment to win the hearts of our passengers.“

CEO Musharraf Rasool also gave a detailed briefing. He said the official logo of PIA had been changed and added that efforts were being made to achieve the target to make PIA, a top of the airlines of the world.

“We were trying to upgrade the level and standards of given facilities and we were approaching different proposals and strategies to get success.”
