In recognition of his achievement, Muhammad Haider Khan will soon receive the “Top in the World Award” from Cambridge for his extraordinary performance for a single subject in Mathematics (Syllabus D). This award refers to the learners who have gained the highest marks in the world for a single subject. Spokesperson of Pakistan Navy said in a statement that Haider achieved a world distinction in the subject. The statement also said that Haider’s achievement is a testament of the navy’s efforts to promote quality education in Pakistan as well as its determination to fulfill institutional duties with utmost professionalism.

For this purpose, second Lahore Science Mela is held at Ali Institute of Education on 27th of January to explore the potential of Pakistani youth in science. The event showcased exhibits ranging from robotic kits and many other innovative gadgets.
On January 19, three students of the space science department at the Institute of Space Technology (IST) in Islamabad received international acclaim for their research on super-massive black holes and galaxy collisions in space.

The contents of the research, already published in a reputed scientific journal as a paper, has also been cited by the academic community- based at leading colleges of the world, like the science departments of Harvard, Columbia and Stony Brook universities.

The findings have been lauded as ‘outstanding’ by experts belonging to the field in question, according to reports.
