Air Sial New Pakistani Private Domestic Airline Update: From the industry that brought you the hailed Brazuca comes another landmark achievement. Keeping their tradition alive of being extremely self-sufficient, Sialkot’s business community is now moving forward with launching their own private airline.
The private airline project called Air Sial, inaugurated in August 2015, has been undertaken by the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI).
Now recently Air Sial New Pakistani Private Domestic Airline, is on its way to be launched in Pakistan as Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been granted a commercial airline license to Air Sial New Pakistani Private Domestic Airline to operate in the country.
This is a major and pivotal step by the chamber in the aviation industry of Pakistan. The license of Air Sial New Pakistani Private Domestic Airline has been issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) with an aim to launch new domestic airline in Pakistan.

According to the sources, federal government sanctioned the application of Sialkot Chamber for establishing a brand Air Sial New Pakistani Private Domestic Airline. The aviation division from the Cabinet Secretariat of Government dispensed the approval notice to the CAA.
The regular procedure will be done now, bank guarantee, professional details, information on the type of aircraft will be given by Air Sial before it starts operations publically.
Mr. Jilani (founding member and Chairman) hailed the project another landmark achievement of Sialkot’s exporters.
Mr. Jailani further said Sialkot’s business community had already completed different mega projects, including international airport, dry port and all main inter-city roads under the city development package, on the self-help basis.
Mr. Jilani said:
“Keeping this in mind, we decided to bring an airline which could provide better travel facilities to exporters as well as other passengers."He added:
“Air Sial will offer five star services at an affordable price.”He said that Air Sial management was mulling over a proposal to buy Boeing 727-800 aircraft for its domestic and international flight operations.
Currently 3 private sector commercial airlines are operating in Pakistan – Shaheen Air International Airblue and Serene Air. Bhoja Air was forced to suspend its operations after the Islamabad plane crash. Furthermore, Indus Air’s 2 aircraft were damaged during the Karachi airport terrorist attack and the airline failed to replace them.
